exclusive video from Quickly Going Nowhere

Currently my short film Quickly Going Nowhere is in post-production in the capable hands of Sam Bergson.

So, in the mean time, I thought I would share a video with the world. It's a take of a music performance scene, that didn't make the film but I love it, so thought I would share.

In film, the main character, played by Brotherman(an incredible Artist), sees a Guitarist playing and spontaneously performs with him.

So to keep it as authentic as possible I wanted to try and keep it spontaneous by not having any run throughs and having them meet on the day.

I told Iain Scott, who is the guitarist, A brilliant artist by the way, to make up a couple of riffs before he got to the shoot.

On the day of the shoot it was the first time Iain and Brotherman had met. Iain said "I've got a couple of, ideas" played a riff. Brotherman, started singing and rapping to it. He liked it so much he didn't want to hear any others.

after the shoot, Iain said to me "I'm glad he liked it, it was the only one I had".

This scene has since been re-shot.

Anyway, I hope you like this...
